St. Maarten

So St. Maarten is partly French and Partly Dutch and here’s how they divided it: they put the Frenchman on one side of the island and the Dutchman on the other and they were supposed to walk until they met and that would be the border. The French part is bigger because supposedly the Frenchman was walking with a bottle of wine and the Dutchman was walking with a bottle of rum, which was so strong that he had to take a nap while walking. It’s good to go on a guided tour :)
